My husband loved his dish, and had no trouble finishing it off. I did love the apple butter sauce that they served with the biscuit - it had a great, almost tart flavor that melted perfectly into the fluffy biscuit. The sausage and the potatoes were mostly cold, which meant that the potatoes were too hard to bite down on, and not very tasty. The eggs were a little under-cooked (but then, I very rarely get the medium cooked eggs I ask for, so I'm not holding that against anybody). The pancake and biscuit were both very good - both fluffy and steaming hot. However, it did end up being too much food for me to consume. There was a ton of food, which in theory, was a great thing: this was our first meal, after a four-plus hour flight, so we were famished. ![]() The food got to us relatively quickly, which we expected, given there was only one other person there at the time. My husband got the Biscuit, Eggs and Gravy. I went with the Famous Flying Biscuit breakfast, but asked to sub the grits with the "moon dusted" potatoes. Everybody was genuinely kind and helpful! Anyway, our waitress sat us at an indoor table (because air conditioning), and left us with the menu to peruse. The waitress was super sweet, which was something that can be said about every person we interacted with while in Atlanta. They weren't busy, which was nice, but the food wasn't exactly its freshest, which was kind of a disappointment. I should also mention that we walked to the restaurant from our hotel, and that we went during the off-peak hour (meaning, we got there around 3 pm that day). This restaurant snagged the top spot on his list, and we now know why. His family lives in the Atlanta area, so I knew he'd be full of opinions of places we should try during our short stay in the city. We came here based on the recommendation of an old friend of mine.
